There were many good things about this cruise but overall I feel that you get what you pay for and that a good deal is probably too good to be true. The food was barely passable for a hospital cafeteria and the entertainment was an embarrassment. The ports of call were fabulous but we had such little time, it was insane. Usually you don't have to leave so early from port but this cruise some departures were at 5pm. I hate to complain but our room was quite dirty upon arrival, complete with suspicious "hairs" in the window! Our steward never introduced himself and we had to ask for replenishment of everyday items more than once (cokes, water, cruise literature, receipts, and gift orders were late).

One thing that really bothered me was how filthy the windows were on the whole ship. I have never experienced that before on a cruise.

Holland America needs to step up on at sea day activities. I know they are catering to an older set but come on! The tennis court and basketball court barely functioned with heavily used equipment that was badly in need of repair (deflated balls and ripped nets).
