We have sailed with RCCL many times. We usually book a suite and have never run into noise 24 hours a day. We knew suite 8004 was under the Windjammer Cafe and expected some noise during the day and evening. We never expected load banging, hammering and rolling carts all night long. We complained to Guest Services and was told to call them when we heard the noise and they would try to run up there and see what was going on. Noise still continued. We complained to the concierge and he said he would look into the matter. Noise still continued. Talked to Manager of Guest Services and was told she would take care of it. Noise still continued. Guest Services Manager said she would check on it again and gave me her cabin number to call if the noise happened again that night. No noise that night! Next day was offered 20% credit on future cruise. Accepted offer and noise started again that night. Three months ago we sailed on Grandeur of the Seas(sister ship to Legend) and stayed in Suite 8004 under the Windjammer Cafe and never heard any noise at all. How can two ships designed exactly alike be so different? Not to be all negative...Legend of the seas is a very clean, well kept ship. The staff is very friendly and professional. We chose My Time Dining and kept the same server every night. He was great! Food was ok..had better and worse before. Room attendant was excellent!
