This was the second time I have cruised on the Triumph in the span of about 6 weeks (mid November 2014 being the first. Both times were highly enjoyable. The major cons are related to the specific room and are discussed in detail below.

In general, food in the various areas was great... Entertainment was good - not great but not bad either... The vast majority of staff were very friendly. Ship was quite clean throughout except in some of the passenger room hallways. It appears that they might need to update the carpeting in some of those.

The major negative I would mention is the smell of sewer throughout many areas of the ship. I could smell it in my cabin (midship deck 1), in hallways, occasionally in the elevators, on a friend's balcony on deck 7, and some common areas. While it's not a deal breaker by any means, it does take a bit away from the experience.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

Pros... 1) This room is spacious! Lots of room for 1, 2, 3 or even 4 people. Much larger than interior room on the same deck. 2) Being in the middle of the ship, there is minimal movement related to waves. Cons... 1) On port days, there's loud grinding and clanging on the deck below the room. I believe it's some sort of mechanical thing that's related to the ship's docking procedures. It lasts for about an hour or so. 2) Very poor air flow. This room has two vents but the air flow is minimal in both. Asked Cabin Steward to check and said there was nothing they could do. I had to have a fan brought into the room to help circulate the air and keep the room cool.
