My husband and I went on a similar cruise 20 years ago for our honeymoon and finally got around to making a similar trip to celebrate our anniversary. We flew from Southern California with our good friends to celebrate our anniversaries in hopes it would be an amazing and memorable vacation. Needless to say, it was even better than we remembered!
From day 1, the crew consisting of Simon, the Captain and the entire crew, Troy(Steelo), Aubrey(King), Stephen, George & Brey were there to ensure we all had the best time possible. They did everything to make sure we were safe and didn't have a need for anything. After a few days, they started to show us their fun side and start to dance to "Knee Deep" while the sails went up or just joke around. In addition, Crystal who usually works behind the scenes, was able to partake in this cruise and we are sure happy she did! She had such an amazing personality and was always ready to do the happy dance(or the thumb dance thanks to our Aussie mates)! She was our Julie from the Love Boat, starting with chats over morning coffee, coordinating tours or events, or just partaking in a good game of Farkel! She was definitely the instigator of fun!
We had a small group but made friends quickly...we became somewhat of a family during the trip as we ate delicious meals together, went to the beach together, snorkeled together, bbq & bonfire together, and don't forget the Conga line on Happy Island & on the boat...Janti sure makes delicious pina coladas & Stephen sure makes great rum punch!!!
We stayed in cabin 5 and it was very comfortable & quite spacious. There was A/C and fans, places to hang clothes/towels to dry, and two beds. There was 1 single that was longer and one a little wider but not as long. The beds were comfortable but if you are a super tall person may be slightly short. My husband is 6'1 and he fit on the longer single bed fine. The bathroom was somewhat small but very functional.
