We reside in Larkspur, California a small town in the County of Marin just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. My wife and I (my wife in particular) were looking forward to returning to France after our last visit in 2001.

We had heard about the Viking Travel lines via a travel agent. To take advantage of special pricing opportunities we booked our passage on Viking nearly a year earlier.

From San Francisco we took a connecting flight to Los Angeles International Airport to where we were directed to another terminal from where our Air France Air Bus 380 would take us to Paris.
