In many ways, a most enjoyable cruise ship and cruise. Excellent, personable Captain, Todd McBain, and very personable staff around the ship. Great lecturers for the "enrichment" lectures and the best cruise director and assistant cruise director(s) of any Princess cruise I've ever taken. Shore excursions were very good and so was the on-board entertainment.

The food on the ship was very good to excellent, depending on the meal and the day. The wine list had a good selection at very reasonable prices.

My only complaint is with "anytime dining". This cruise ship uses the two "anytime" dining rooms to accommodate "early" diners, and even reserves tables for groups in the anytime dining room FOR THE ENTIRE CRUISE. The only time available to dine in the dining rooms is either 5:30 PM or after 7:45 PM.

Cabin Review

The state room was the same as in other Princess cruise ships; functional with no frills or thrills. Sufficient closet space and drawers, storage for suitcases under the bed, and a functional bathroom with adequate storage space for toiletries. The larger deck in this stateroom was enjoyable.
