An awful, beautiful cruise...
I've never done anything like this before so please be gentle with me. Aside from a general review of the cruise, I will try to answer questions I had and could never get answers.
I sailed with my wife and this was to be our 10th Anniversary/Deferred Honeymoon. We have sailed out of Galveston once before on Carnival's Ecstasy in December 2003. Naturally, we did a lot of comparing and I will try to share what we felt was significant.
