First off, I would like to say for the $$, this was a great cruise. It was short but nice. It was our first cruise, mine & my husband. We were celebrating our anniversary and this cruise was a four-nighter over the weekend. It was perfect and it was over our anniversary. We had booked an inside cabin and got upgraded to a balcony, so we were thrilled! The stateroom was great, shower was small but adequate. There was lots of storage space for our clothes. Our stateroom attendant was wonderful! Very friendly and did a great job. We had early dining and most of the meals in the evening in the dining room we had good service; however, we were quite disappointed in the overall dining experience in the dining room and the other eateries on the ship. The service in the dining room for breakfast and lunch was awful! The food was ok, but the wait staff was pretty terrible. This sailing had one stop, Cozumel. After seeing Cozumel, I would have expected Royal Caribbean to send us somewhere else. It was pretty devastated by Hurricane Wilma and will definitely take many years to recover. There is no vegetation (no green palm trees, etc.) and the buildings are wiped out. We went on the Catch The Wave snorkel safari which included snorkeling, a glass bottom boat ride & lunch. The water was great and the fish were plentiful, but the reef is hurt badly. The lunch on the boat was pretty terrible too. We had a facial at the Spa onboard the ship and we both had different experiences. It wasn't worth the money, but the staff was friendly. The fitness center is wonderful! Great size and plenty of machines. The hot tubs on board were not working very well. The water was warm, but not hot. Also, they replaced some carpet on the pool deck overnight but it wasn't finished for our last at sea day and everyone wanted room on the pool deck that day. It was sad, since part of the deck was blocked off because of the renovation. The ship cruise director was great, but there really wasn't lots of activities planned during the day other than bingo. Not everyone likes bingo. Entertainment in the evening was fair, not stellar like I anticipated. The shows in the theater were ok, but definitely not "Broadway shows."
