Corner Brook Cruise Port Facilities?
The folks from Corner Brook go all out to welcome cruise-ship passengers. At the dock, civic greeters offer free souvenirs, musicians play local folk music, and a couple of very friendly Newfoundland dogs ignore the weather to make new friends. Yellow school buses offer free transportation around town, including to the town center with its retail shops and restaurants. You'll also find a new city hall with free Wi-Fi, craft booths and impressive museum dedicated to local and natural history. Buses also stop just outside of town where visitors attempt to find the face of the "Man in the Mountain" high on a rocky cliff above the Humber River.
