This was our 2nd time on Harmony.
Issues: It was clear that there were issues with staffing. We found long lines for Guest Services, Bingo and shops during “special sales”. Lines were long at embarkation. When docking in St. Maarten there was no one at the gangway to direct us to our Shore Excursion. At Cococay we had to wait 20 minutes for a trolley to the island. The public restrooms ...
HARMONY OF THE SEAS -----MAY 2022
ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL
Our May, 2022 cruise on the Harmony of the Seas was our fifth cruise on the Harmony and the fourth cruise since cruising resumed after the covid pandemic. The good news is that cruising is almost back to normal. Notable exceptions included: Ship staff wear masks, and there was no regular aqua show with an aqua showcase substituted. The ...
I am a Diamond Member on RCCL and to me they are going down hill with there quality of service and caring about long time Loyal travelers. They are charging for everything anymore. The show's on the ship are great if you can get to see them, On the Oasis Of the Seas class you could book them before you got on the ship but not anymore, so you have to try and book them when you get on the ship GOOD ...
Room was very small, Beds made daily but not cleaned, Terrible smell on the Ship, that we were ever told about, 1- Sewer back up on deck 4. 2-Ventalation System, It was terrible. No one would answer our Questions about it, All the way to Nineth floor, and dare not ride the Elevators....Sick one whole day, Headache Eyes burning...The ship itself needs alot of work, very dated and old, sounds like ...
Compared to The Grandeur, Enchantment is very similar. The decor of the Enchantment is a little more streamiined that that of the Grandeur, but both are beautiful ships. Both are "comfortably formal", which I appreciate.
There was an issue of foul odor on our deck, which caused a lot of discomfort, but was finally corrected. The Crew worked 24/7 on the problem. But I realize that this could ...
With a Junior Suite, we didn't expect both air conditioning circulating vents over the bed and the table to drop black soot on several different days. The staff was quick to clean up but couldn't be responsible for the malfunction. The sewer smell in the elevators and around the deck four entrance to the dining room wasn't quite the greeting one would expect for entering for meals. The dining ...
This was a cruise to celebrate my husband's 55th birthday on 5/5. This was our first cruise with RCCL. In an effort to go the extra mile, to celebrate him, I pre-purchased the birthday decorations package (chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate cake & room décor), to surprise him upon arrival. The decorations were nowhere to be found when we entered our suite. I expressed my displeasure to ...
Ship itself is rather stunning! Cabin was good, but smaller than we had on Carnival. A few stains on couch that apperead removable, but were not cleaned. Shower had a leak at the connection to the controls, and tv remote was broken. Replacement remote was broken as well. Food wa good, but not exceptional. Several dishes were somewhat overcooked. Ship sailed well, minimal ocean sway. ...

We arrived at the Freedom of the Seas at about 1pm out of Miami Florida Port. Left our luggage with an attendant and entered the terminal. No masks are required. We saw a huge line but within 15 minutes we gave our ...
We live in Florida just over a 2 hour drive from Port Canaveral or The Port of Tampa. We have sailed numerous times out of Tampa, but this was our first sailing from Canaveral. The drive to the port is a breeze, just over 10 miles from I-95. The issues we discovered were mostly parking related. No valet service ( as in Tampa ), parking can be quite a hike from the terminal, and a real issue in ...
