We felt this was our best cruise yet, enjoyed the ship and crew. Food was good but not excellant. Service in MDR (YTD) was excellant most nights. Our cabin steward was excellant also. "Behind the Fun" tour was fun but physically demanding. Shows- we only took in 1 main lounge show, and 1 comedy show, both were ok. Captain was very entertaining & personable. Wee Jimmy was good too. We spent some time in the casino- slots were very tight. Smoking was allowed on 1 side of Lido and most outer decks. Decor of ship was a bit dark for my taste, lighting fixtures in MDR were nice. Overall we enjoyed this cruise very much.

Cabin Review

Extended Balcony

Cabin 8K

Our cabin was like all others we've had with Carnival-185 sq ft. Clean, comfortable, plenty of storage. We had a problem w/ shower water pressure, guest services basically blew us off, so my dh cleaned out the shower head and water pressure was great after that. Min bar temp was not too cool. Extended balcony was nice, but I wouldn't pay extra to get it. Deck 8 mid-ship was quieter than we expected it to be. No overhead noise bothered us.
