Took 1st cruise in August and I thought Carnival Triumph was bad... I take most of it back when comparing to Celebrity Millenium! The ship and stateroom were good for the most part, but the awfully bland food and the lack of response and outright rudeness and ignorance at times of the staff, in particular the maitre d's and the guest services staff -how's that for irony- was bewildering!

A boatload of nothing of substance. Our first timer guests had a good time so that was the only plus.

The boarding and disembarking were quite easy I must say. Hardly any waiting time, free drinks, champagne and mimosas, really, and you are welcome to lunch until the staterooms are cleared. The shows were mostly boring. Carnival had a much better lineup and variety of shows. I'm not traveling with Celebrity again, but will give Carnival another chance just because the food was better and the staff better trained if a bit too eager at times. Eager beats rude and ignorant. The Port of Miami security personnel is typically rude and overbearing.
