Absolutely perfect October cruise on the Millennium. 4 night, out of Miami, with ports of call in Key West and Cozumel.
Embarkation in Miami was a breeze. We were able to board the ship around 11:30 am. Staff was very pleasant. Champagne and mimosas greeted us upon boarding. Greeting staff was very nice and directed us to the buffet area for lunch since our cabins weren't ready yet. Buffet food was good throughout the voyage with enough variety to keep us interested.
Concierge balcony cabin on Deck 8 was very nice, very clean and updated. Quiet too. We were in the aft portion of the ship and rarely felt any major movement, even though we had 6 - 8 foot swells on the last day. Out cabin attendant, Joseph, made sure we were stocked with extra towels and pillows.
Dining room service and food was outstanding. Eka and Matt, our waiters, were great, very attentive and made us feel welcomed. The maitre d' made a point to visit our table nightly, ask how our day was, and thanked us for choosing Celebrity.
The salt water pools were an unexpected delight.
Although this ship is smaller than the Solstice class ships, it didn't feel small. Rather, it felt spacious and updated.
Celebrity knows how to treat their customers very well. We've sailed with Celebrity before but this experience was our best so far.
