Stopped at Arles, Avignon, Tournon sur Rhone, Vienne,Lyon, Macon and Chalon sur Saone. Very beautiful cities with interesting tours. Lots of History, art, vinyards, Wineries and beautiful countrysides.

Only bad side trip was in Macon which was a nighttime walking tour of the town. we were not told that the "tour" was actually a hike up steep hillside cobblestone streets in almost total darkness. Cabin review: Viking Neptune

Small cabin, but adequate, since you don't spend much time in it other than sleeping and dressing.
