NCL sky notes

I cruised on NCL after a many year hiatus. I am a frequent RCL cruiser. There is no comparison. To sum up our cruise in a word, I would say it was disappointing. The staff was courteous but not helpful and there was virtually nothing for young children (we have three kids aged 5, 3 and 1). There is stuff for older kids, but there is nothing for young kids and the staff was not very accommodating to the special needs of parents traveling with very young kids.

An example of this was at check in. We needed the room ready early for infant nap time. RCL's response was to see if they could get the room ready with pack n play to accommodate us. NCL staff said several times the room will be ready after 2:15 (in other words, nap time is tough luck). It was not until the last person who actually checked and found out the room was ready and pack n play was already in the room. This should have been the first response.

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IB

Tiny but not atypical for interior cruise cabin. Has ridiculous set of stairs that are impossible to get up and down with a baby stroller!!
