This was my third cruise and my first with Norwegian. From the minute we got on the boat until we got back we were well taken care of. We had a total of nine people traveling with us and not one person had a bad experience. Our luggage got to our room in a timely manner. We had a balcony room and like all cruise ships it was small but laid out well. The room was very clean and so were the bathrooms.

I really enjoyed the freestyle cruising and not being locked into a specific dinner time. We ate at most of the restaurants and the food was always really good at all of them. I did not try the French or Italian place but I heard from others that they were both good. The two main dining rooms both had similar menus and the food was great. The teppanyaki place was awesome. The chef put on a good show and the food was delicious. We also ate the sushi place which was better than I thought it would be. The steakhouse was well worth the cover and the filet mignon was amazing. We did breakfast and lunch at the buffet most times and it was good. I could go on an on about the food but the point is everything I ate ranged from good to great. I don't think I had one bad meal on the boat.

The entertainment one the boat was top notch. The comedian David Naster was hilarious. They also had a comedy magic show with Jean Pierre who was great. His tricks were really cool and he was very funny. We hung out with him in the lounge one night and he was great to chat with. I missed the Cirgue show but I heard a lot of people say it was incredible. They also had great game shows and an awesome pub crawl. The cruise director Dan, along with his assistant cruise director Johnnie and Megan were fantastic. They are all young, energetic, fun people and really kept the party going on the boat. The whole staff on the boat, from the stateroom attendants, to the waiters and waitresses, the bartenders, the washy-washy girl (if you do the cruise you'll know who I mean)were all incredible. Always nice, polite and happy to help us have a great time.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

We had a balcony on the 10th floor aft. The cabin was nice, typical for a cruise. The balcony had a great view. I had loud neighbors which was annoying because if their balcony door was open when mine was I could hear everything. Had they been a little more respectful and quiet, it would have been fine.
