Ship Facts: Carnival Triumph Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Triumph Deck Plans
Great time on the Triumph...Ready to go back!!
Would recommend the Triumph to anyone. We arrived a little early due to lots of rain fall in New Orleans that morning. Check in and boarding was as easy as it gets. We were on board shortly after 11:30 and eating lunch on the lido deck before noon. We were able to get in our room around 1:20. We had a balcony room that was spacious and very clean. The room steward was very friendly and our room stayed immaculate the whole cruise.

The food on the lido deck was very good except for the pizza. They changed the pizza since last cruise. We ate dinner in the MDR every night. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We even ordered room service a couple of times late at night with no issues at all.

The entertainment was so so the 1st 2 nights but the show on the last night made up for it. The comedians were great!

We went to Progresso and Cozumel. In Progresso we just hung around dock and did some shopping and had a few drinks. In Cozumel we did Mr Sancho's. I would go back to Mr Sancho's in a heartbeat. Great food, drinks and service. Our days at sea were very relaxing. The chair hogs didn't show up, so finding a nice spot to listen to the music and enjoy the activities was no problem.

The ship was very easy to get around. We just spent a little time at the beginning of the cruise to explore the ship and that made easy to get around. Overall, we would cruise the Triumph again tomorrow if we could. After a day of rain in New Orleans on the day we left, the weather was perfect. The ship has aged a little, but in no way that would keep me away. The service was excellent everywhere on the ship. I really don't understand how anyone could complain about the Triumph and the service. I can't wait to go back!!!
