We were a party of four, my husband, myself and our two friends. Having already taken 7 cruises with Thomsons we were a bit concerned about The Dream after the TV programme "Watchdog". However our fears were groundless. From the minute we stepped on board - the cruise was "A Dream". Whilst the ship is a bit old fashioned, the cleanliness could not be faulted. Our cabin was spotless. The food was good, particularly in the Orion Restaurant, where our waiters, Bernard, Livi, Seigfried and Lito gave us superb service.Hazel in the bar was so friendly, even remembering our cabin numbers after only one day! When she sang at the Crew Talent Show you could have heard a pin drop - she could be a professional singer! Finally, the entertainment!. Well Done to Paul the Cruise Director,he worked tirelessly and each evening the team performed a great show, particularly on the last evening. The performance of Les Miserables was outstanding. Paul is the only Cruise Director we have known who participated in so many of the performances and was seen around the ship throughout the day.At the moment the prices for next year look a bit on the expensive side - we may wait as late as possible before booking, but hopefully another Thomson cruise is on the horizon!
Our cabin was fine - an outside one with a double bed and adequate storage space.
