A beautifully appointed ship tragically let down by awful catering and very poor staffing.It also became very clear that MSC is a money grabbing organisation, charging for bottled water at all times, even with dinner in main restaurants, charging for tea and coffee at all times other than breakfast.Tea spoons were in very short supply and soup spoons non existent. You were expected to eat soup and desert with over sized desert spoons.The initial fares seem sensible but be assured when getting on board you will pay through the nose for everything.As I stated in the comment sheet on board, this company would benefit greatly from a visit to P & O, Royal Caribbean or Holland America to observe their professionalism. They would also improve the British holiday experience with a programme of staff training and development of public relations skills for all staff.Should you be considering a cruise with this company my advise would be done.All my family were struck down with a most severe sickness and diarrhoea bug and my husband is till under the doctor to this day.Finally disembarkation was the most chaotic mess ever experienced.
