So this was my third cruise with Carnival, and after this one, for the first time I left wondering if maybe its time to check out the other options out there. I by no means had a bad time or really have a lot to complain about, its vacation, and I had a good time.
Carnival like the rest of the world seems to have had to make some cutbacks to survive in these tough economic times and uncertainties, I completely understand that, so there are small things that we noticed around the ship, and amenities available.
So, embarkation was a little rough, the Coast Guard was doing their annual inspection which is what cause a little bit of a delay, not biggy, about an hour and a half from arrival to being on ship. Went to Lido since you cant get to your room until 1:30, no biggy for us, but there were few upset people walking around trying to get attention. Ship was very nice looking, everyone was ready to help make sure you didn't get lost or have any questions. Went out and sat on Serenity Deck, it was very nice, but we were not able to get a seat after the first day, it was packed, so we just moved on for the rest of the cruise and hung out mid-ship.
Room 6198, very convenient, quite and comfortable
