Sail Date: Feb 2011
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2C

We sailed on the Equinox from 2/18-2/28. The itinerary was great - two sea days at the beginning and two at the end. There were five ports - St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Dominica, St. Martin, and Barbados. Cabin 9342 was an excellent location. Elevators were not too far away but far enough so that there was no noise from folks waiting. Cabin was very quiet. Celebrity has changed the location of the closet in these cabins and I felt that there was not quite as much closet/storage space as on other ships but we managed to find a place for everything we brought.

The ship is quite large but that did not pose a problem. There was always a place to sit and more than enough to eat.

The entertainment on this ship was not as spectacular as it has been on other Celebrity ships. Les DeMerle Jazz Quartet was outstanding but Jukebox, the a capella group, was not as much fun as previous groups have been. The extravaganzas in the theater were okay but not outstanding. The comedians were funny but the second comedian (Dave) repeated many jokes on his second night. The ventriliquist was entertaining.

Cabin 2C

Good location, not too far from elevators, very quiet, nice balcony, not as much closet/storage as on other ships
