First Baltimore is a great Port to embark from. This was our 40th cruise, of which we have been on high end cruises and cruises that were low. This statement just to give you a level of experience.

We, my wife and I, arrived at the terminal at 11:30am and were on the ship 20 minutes later. We had spent the night before the cruise at the Renissance Hotel right on the harbor, 10 minutes from the port. We used the parking lot next to the terminal building. When we left the ship at the end of the cruise, we disembarked at 8:15am. Within 15 minutes had our luggage in our car and were right next to the interstate highway. Very easy and pain free.

Being early, we went to the Windjammer Cafe for lunch. It was crowded, but most cruises are the same the day of departure. It was manageable. We received our luggage before the muster drill. It was very cold that day, so no sail away party outdoors.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

We had a junior suite. It had a pipe running through the middle of the room, floor to ceiling. It had plenty of closet and storage space. Nice size flat screen tv. The sofa and chairs were comfortable. Would have liked to have a chair that opened to a chaise or a foot stool on the veranda.
