I should preface my comments by saying I am a big Royal Caribbean fan. I love the value for money the company provides, the programs for kids and the amenities they have on their ships.
I have sailed on many Royal Caribbean ships from the smallest in their fleet (The Majesty) to all of Freedom Class Ships (Freedom, Independence and Liberty)and was certainly looking forward to sailing on the Adventure of the Seas because of its itinerary and because it came highly recommended from a couple we cruised with the previous New Year's (on the Majesty).
Unfortunately, it did not end up being our best cruise experience, although we certainly enjoyed bringing in the New Year in the Caribbean. While it was cold that week even in Florida, we had beautiful weather.
9308 was a very nice junior suite situated in the middle of the ship. We chose this because of previous experiences being directly under the pool area which can be noising at all hours of the day (think cleaning staff at 4 am!). Like most junior suites it was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space. Nice private balcony which was unique in that you could not see your neighbors (very nice). Salt has taken its toll on the glass on the balcony, however, so sitting and trying to see out was somewhat obstructed. But overall well worth the price differential from a regular balcony room.
