My wife and I had sailed on all the Celebrity ships except the new Solstice class ships. The dining choice were great! We did select dining and tried all the specialty restaurants. The Tuscan grill was great, Silk Harvest was a hidden gem, Murano was OK, and the Bistro on 5 was awesome. Most people didn't want to spend the extra money on these, but the Bistro on 5 only charges five dollars and is well worth it. Overall I like the ship but it really needs one more set of elevators and stairs. The glass show was cool to watch once but a waste of space and money, but celebrity is changing this on the next two ships. I liked the lawn club bar and it was like having our own private bar as no one else every went there. Our favorite place on the millennium ships is the martini bar but on this ship it was so big it was very impersonal. That was our biggest dislike about the ship, that the crew was not as engaging and the crew told us they feel the same way. They just don't have time to connect with people and the crew said they don't get as many tips. We paid for a C1 because my wife has always really liked concierge, although I don't think we would book it again. There really is no difference anymore although we have it booked on the infinity in January. They need more draws in these rooms, but the room was great! The deck chairs were great on the balcony. We hadn't been on celebrity in two years and we noticed the dress code had really changed. You can wear jeans in the dining room and it's much more casual, which was OK with us but we didn't have enough casual clothes. We thought the entertainment and activities were weak, but the cruise director was probably the reason, because he wasn't that great or engaged. We are elite captains club members and we thought this was the best captains club program ever on this ship! They were really on top of the pool area and policed it very well to keep people from saving chairs. I like that they don't have trays in the casual grill which makes you take less and you don't see a bunch of dirty dishes all over the pool area.

We have done this itinerary 5 times so I won't talk about the ports. We still love Celebrity, but if you book a Caribbean cruise don't book until four weeks out as unlike Princess and other, they drop the price dramatically to new bookings and don't offer existing booking upgrades. I hate that about Celebrity and if you book under four weeks, you will lower your price by as much as 50% which will pay for any higher flight cost.
