First of all, There are so many things that are wonderful about cruising and this may not be so much of a full review as it is a little honesty. We absolutely had a fabulous time and it is the best bang for the buck, as they say.

It is our second cruise, last year we sailed the Carnival Sensation which is our only comparison ship to ship. The mantra of the ship is Excellence is Good and good is disaster, this of course applies to the hyped up scorecard you are asked to fill out and for the most part it was very very good.

The "people" are good, waiters, room attendants, assistants and we felt this way on the Sensation as well. The food was very good but not as well presented as the Sensation, the lobster a bit chewy. Some disappointments foodwise were also the breakfast buffet, where the bacon was overcooked, eggs undercooked and the last morning when we arrived in port, they ran out of creamers?? (felt like the boot to me.) The hamburgers on the pool deck were a little dry and on one evening when we were in Nassau til 830, there were only 2 guys cooking pizza and pasta (as fast as they could) for the line line of people getting back on board. If one wanted a drink of juice at 10 pm, you would have to travel the the one spot that had it, way back in the Aft. Food in general for me, gets a C+. The Sensation had all night food, drink and excellent Main Dinner fare, Sensation an A. We had expected so much more from Celebrity.
