Registering and boarding were extremely easy. As soon as we entered the ship, we were offered champagne and someone took our bags and escorted us to our room. Within minutes we were greeted by our stateroom attendant and given a very in depth welcome speech, then he pointed us toward the welcome buffet on the upper deck. It all happened so fast - most of it was a blur....

The Ship: This was our first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to. There were four of us in an oceanview stateroom and we were surprised by the storage space. We kept suitcases in the closet and souvenirs under the bed, we rarely found ourselves stepping on each other - then again we didn't spend much time in our room. Our attendant always had everything freshened up and in order, he was great!

The pools were smaller than we expected, but most people were there for the sunning. There was always some sort of poolside entertainment - a great party band, games or smaller contests. There were a lot of bars/lounges on the ship, we're not big drinkers so we think they should have turned one or two of them into some other kind of entertainment/sport facility (mini golf, perhaps). We didn't go to the cinema, but they had new DVD releases showing. Between the four of us, there were usually enough activities being offered during the day to keep us busy and when there weren't, we enjoyed the hidden ping pong tables & learned how to play shuffleboard. The shows in the Celebrity Theatre were okay. The first night we saw a pretty funny comedienne and we also attended all the singer/dancer shows; two shows were kind of lame, but they did a Broadway review for the last one and it was very well done.
