Oct. 16-21, 2004. This was mine and my husband's 4th cruise (3rd on RCI) our son's 3rd cruise. We are definitely hooked on cruising. Royal Caribbean is great!!

Getting there: From our home in Alabama, it is about a 14 hr drive to Ft. Lauderdale, we decided to fly this time (the other times, we have driven to Port Canaveral). Flying is the way to go. If you book airfare with your cruise, RCI personnel will meet you at the baggage claim and bus you to the pier. Everything went smoothly.

EMBARKMENT: We got to the pier at about 11:30 and were checked in and on the ship by 12:00. We couldn't go to our cabin until 1:00 so we just explored the ship a little and got a bite to eat at the Windjammer.
