Just back from third Princess Cruise and first Alaskan one. This time we brought more family including my 80 year old dad and 74 year old mom to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. It was first cruise for both.
Embarkation was the smoothest I have ever seen. We arrived 1-2pm and always were on the move - no standing around.
We all had an unbelievably wonderful time on and off the ship. I think as long as you know what to expect (no, it is not a 5 star hotel or restaurant), you will find your expectations met, or even exceeded.
Nicely sized, ample bathroom. Quiet location. Convenient to our favorite places, traditional dining room, buffet, Vista lounge. Able to unpack for 3 people in closet and shelves no problem and all suitcases fit under the bed. Did not feel excessive movement towards aft as I had feared. Laundry nearby was not a factor at all.
