Sail Date: Mar 2010

The Crown was the last of our "snowbird cruises" this winter to escape Michigan snows. We did the Sapphire in December, the Ruby in January, the Grand in February and B2B on the Crown in March.

Embarkation We typically stay a bit north of Ft Lauderdale (much more reasonably priced hotels), drive down on sail day and leave our car at Air and Sea parking. Their van dropped us off at the terminal around 1 pm and it was right through security and check in and we were in our cabin in record time.

Our Cabin We had booked a guarantee category F and received a cabin assignment shortly after booking. No upgrade fairy visit this time - cabin assignment remained as first assigned. E216 is considered a fully obstructed cabin but we could see a little sea between the lifeboat and platform - but the window was very dirty and stayed that way throughout the cruise. Otherwise it was a good location - very convenient to the piazza and theatre.

Cabin Review

Good convenient location but really obstructed view -- dirty window as well. Have had much better less obstructed views in this category.
