Sail Date: Jan 2010

My wife and I sailed on the Emerald Princess over 1/24/2010-1/31/2010 to the Eastern Caribbean. This is our 4th Princess cruise with one other on the Celebrity Summit. We are in our last 40's but feel like we are still 35.

We flew down 2 day per cruise and stayed at the Bahia Mar on A!A across from the beach. Great hotel with great beach access. 30 minuets walk down to the inlet to watch the ships leave on Saturday.

Embarkation: took a van to the port at 11:30 for $20.00 and was on the ship by 12:20. Went really good with no problems bringing soda in our carryon. Dropped off our carryon in our room and headed to horizon court for lunch. Buffet was really busy with no tables to be had until you got up to the front pool. Received our bags before life boat drill and unpacked. Drill want good in club fusion. Watched sail a way from tradewinds pool bar. After sail a way met with some of our cruise critic group at outriggers. Had a great time meeting new friends. It had been a long day, so got room service dinner and relaxed. I went up to watch Brett Favre lose to the Saints on MUTS. Windy up by MUTS, but with a blanket and a few drinks was great way to start the week, just wish Favre could have pulled off the win.
