The ship layout was the most disappointing. We had the 2ND seating in the Botticelli Restaurant. You have to get to the restaurant either by stairs (where everyone is standing every night waiting for the doors to open) or elevator. There is no straight in Que-line. The library is a small room with bookshelves. I had not seen one person in there for all 7 days. The Internet lounge was really small too. Unlike Holland American Line, the Internet cafe and library was large, comfortable chairs looking out at the sea. There where no windows in the library! We had a great cabin steward and waiter at dinner. The balcony cabin was nice but being on the Lido deck meant that we were far from everything else on the ship (deck 15!!) The Lido food was terrible. Hardly any desserts and the fruit was tasteless. They had ready wrapped sandwiches to pick up (like supermarket style). Eggs were powdered or if you ordered them freshly made (ie omelets) they were dripping with grease. The wait staff was not friendly at all in the Lido areas. There was no water or iced tea out on deck, and the waiters were not offering to get you any either (because there is no money in it). There was no quiet place to play games. We had to play with blaring music on the Lido deck or in the Horizon restaurant itself, taking up a table where someone might want to eat. The Captain's night was really weird too. Everyone congregated in the Atrium instead of the Theater. I have to say that there was fresh flowers every night at the restaurant and the food was excellent there. Plenty of it too. I find that BINGO on board all ships is a rip off. The line makes so much money with little coming back to the passengers. The entertainment was great - hypnotist and comedian were great. Motown show was boring and lots of people walked out. Princess might want to rethink that show. There were 3500 people on board (sold out) and it was a little crowded and close. The embarkation and disembarkation all was smooth and easily accessible. We did take advantage of the on-board special to book another cruise. We will try Princess again, and hopefully the ship won't be so disappointing - Dawn Princess is next.

Nice cabin but all the way on the top deck (15 Lido). It was far to go to the restaurant, theather, casino, atrium and shops. Had to take elevators everywhere. I would not stay up there again on any ship.
