My husband and I had planned this trip for a while. He has a very demanding job and if I don't get vacation time scheduled, with him, I either need to stay home or go with other friends. Cruising is a great option for us. I like to rest and read, my hubby likes to work out and then rest. The ship is amazing. We were on a 6 night cruise and the weather was amazing! We had a balcony cabin at the back of the ship. The cabin was very nice and had a very large balcony. My only complaint is that I like to look over the edge of the balcony to the water and you didn't have that option because the boat extends out past your balcony, but the Panoramic views were simply AWESOME! We chose the My Time Dining option and felt that was the best for us. The first night on board, we ate in the Windjammer and really had a nice relaxing and easy going meal. A long day of traveling, and snacks during the ballgame that we watched on the big screen in the lounge, so we opted out of the more formal dining room. Monday night we ate at the Chops Grille and paid the surcharge. It was worth every penny and then some. The most fantastic meal of the cruise and such a romantic experience. It was formal night and we just really loved the food and the waiters! Tuesday night we made reservations for 6:00 and ended up rescheduling for later so that we could attend the ice show. So glad that we did both and we didn't have any problems getting a later sitting for dinner. The meals in the main dining room were delicious and we had great wait staff taking care of us. Our first day at sea, the weather was amazing and my husband and I did a couples hot stone massage. It was just sinful! The ladies in the spa are very professional and really took great care of us. Tuesday we were in Belize and we did the Raiders of the Lost Mayan Cave tour. WE enjoyed everything except the long ride to and from the port. It was a great experience. Wednesday we were in Costa Maya. We chose to venture out on our own and just spent some time near the port at the shops. When we were done there, we went back to the boat and enjoyed the pool and the weather. Thursday we were in Cozumel and we did the 3 reef snorkeling adventure. We were a little disappointed that we didn't get very far from the boat. All three stops were in view of the ships. Good crew on the boat, but would have been nicer to go a little further around the island. There were lots of fish and nice reefs.

We really enjoyed the ship more than the stops along the way. They had great shows in the lounges. Parades in the Promenade. Great music in the bars and wonderful cruisers on board. Never witnessed anyone being disrespectful and everyone seemed to be having a great time. There were about 500 kids on board, and they pretty much stayed in the kid zone areas. I love the fact that there are adult only pools and whirlpools. The drinks in the bars were always fantastic and the Champagne bar always offered up appetizers when we went in before dinner. What a great touch! The shops on board the ship were very nice and every evening the promenade was full of great shopping excitement. I love the Freedom Class ships. I have been on all 3. The staff on RCCL is the best and they are always so helpful and polite. They are my favorite cruise line and I can't wait to go again!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Nice room. Large Balcony. Balcony is at back of ship and has some obstruction, but overall a nice Panoramic view.
