Of 12 cruises (8 with Royal, 1 Princess, 1 Holland America, 1Costa ) this was the most beautiful ship we were on. She is very elegant and has nice colour schemes. Staff was the friendliest ever and also very visible.
We (late 40, early 50) choose this cruise because of the timing and destination. After turning diamond on Royal Caribbean we also liked to try Celebrity. We hoped to get better quality of food and staff and that is what we got! The food was very good. We were in the MDR 9 evenings out of 11 and food was always good quality. I liked the orzo with seafood very much. We also had beef tournedos, steak Dianne, duck, veal, beef Wellington, Lobster tail and more that we liked. Quality was really good. We also ate at Sushi on 5 (nice) and Qsine (ausem!)
We did not have the drinkpackage so we ordered a classic wine package. Before dinner we had a drink in the Sky lounge (elite and up). It was a quited nice place to relaxe before dining.
Very nice cabin aft starboard. Steward Sunny was very friendly, cabin was clean. Balcony was larger than other 2c categorie. We had no lifeboat in front of us. Only a blue deck from Restaurant below us. But was not really obstructed view. Only looking straight down was obstructed. Cabin was very quiet. Bed comfortable, top mattres. Bathroom was bigger than other Cruise lines.
Stayed in B&B. Ight for the cruise.
