We normally cruise with NCL ,was our first time on one of their larger ships. They seem to have lost their way.Layout of ship poor, bars and entertainment venues poorly utilised resulting in overcrowding in Atrium area.No ocean view venue for seating in poor weather.Sundeck around pools shaded, sundecks quite exposed.Buffet menu lacks variety and quality.Bar entertainment quite loud.We had a mini suite, balcony small, cabin layout fairly cramped, compares poorly with others. We were on deck 11,kids Splash area above, noisy.Stateroom attendant did not engage, normally very friendly. NCL seem to be cutting back on many of the small extras.our view was that this is a family friendly ship with extensive areas to amuse kids and teens on the wrong itinerary which is more suited to adults. The plusses are some of the speciality restaurants which have outsde dining areas and the bars on the Waterfront deck which are nice in fine weather but get crowded .We will choose smaller NCL ships in future.
