We went on this cruise for the itinerary. This was our first Celebrity cruise. We stayed at the Doubletree Westminster London before the cruise. The ship is beautiful and fancier than our usual Carnival cruises. Lots of marble, beautiful public areas, wonderful Spa, grass on top! We loved the Corning Hot Glass show! We went there about 4 times! We even won a beautiful vase! They do free raffles and also sell pieces at the end of the cruise. We were not Spa class, and we did not pay to go to the premium restaurants. We were disappointed with the Moonlight Sonata Dining room. We had anytime dining. The tables were so close, I could smell the soup from the table next to ours. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was not great, so we only went to the dining room 3 nights on our 12 night cruise. The Cafe was terrific and had lots of variety! We loved it there. Very good staff there!

The entertainment was pretty good. We liked the guest magician, violinist and comedian. The Eclipse orchestra was fabulous!! Most of the guests were older than us and world travelers. Not many people going to karaoke. But the Silent Disco was very fun!! We loved the casino being non-smoking! The slots need a better system (like Carnival) so you don't have to go to the cage to put money on your card.

The ports were fantastic! Cork Ireland was our favorite. We crossed the Arctic Circle twice. Iceland was beautiful and extremely expensive! The Blue Lagoon was amazing! All of our Celebrity excursions were great, just not enough time at some stops. Very informative bus rides with good food and/or Irish Coffee. The Blarney Woolen Mills was a great excursion with the best Irish shopping. Dublin and Belfast were nice also. We docked next to the Titanic museum in Belfast. We went to the Giants Causeway and saw 6 rainbows that day! Nice cruise ship, but not as fun as Carnival.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

The cabin was nice, the balcony somewhat small. We were 2 decks above the smoking deck which was disgusting. Stay as far away from deck 5 as possible! I liked the plexiglass shower doors (no curtain) in the bathroom. Great storage space.

Port Reviews

Cobh (Cork)

Our favorite stop on this cruise! We walked around and went to the cathedral at the top of the hill. Charming town!! They let people come down to the ship and say goodbye. The band played and everyone waved to us!

Reykjavik

Both tours were great! The Blue Lagoon was wonderful! Don't buy your souvenirs in Iceland! Buy them in Ireland!!
