We chose this cruise because we couldn't decide which island to visit, and didn't want to include the ocean crossing in our holiday--so that meant travelling on NCL Pride of America!! Having been spoiled with HALs food a couple of years ago, we found that to be plentiful but average; they were trying hard, and we didn't try any of the extra fee dining (except for milkshakes in the Cadillac diner--they were good but small for $4.50 US--and most of our dinners were barely edible--except the one burger!) East meets West was better, but harder to get in to. Even the Skyline was just okay, and we never did try the Liberty--too hot for long pants!! Some of the younger staff didn't always wait for customers who had mobility problems--and there were LOTS OF US!--but most were great.

The entertainment was good, drinks were very expensive but we don't drink much so that didn't effect us much, although the price on water was also high, and you couldn't bring any on with you after an excursion! We didn't bother with the photos either. Probably should've taken pay-as-you-go wifi as we didn't have much luck and hadn't taken a cell package for the US.

We thought the room and balcony were great--small but kept clean and with all the necessities. The bed could have been a bit softer, but that's more personal taste. The ship was in good shape and seemed to always be clean. The entertainment was good--seemed a nice variety.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Small but efficient. Enough space under bed for empty suitcases. No shower or bathroom issues. Quiet....rooms above and below, thanks to our travel agent! Port is nice to watch Napali coast sail by from balcony, starboard for watching any lava flows after leaving Kona from balcony....but there are lots of public viewing spots.
