We chose this cruise to see several of the Hawaiian islands. We were not disappointed with the itinerary. However, I don't think we will cruise Norwegian again. They don't allow you to bring water on board but they are happy to charge you $5.50 for a large bottle or $30 for a 24 pack of small bottles, recommending in their daily newsletter that you stay hydrated. Even if you say you need the water for medication they take it away unless you have a doctors letter. I couldn't believe they asked me what kind of Meds I take that needed water. Corkage fee for wine you bring on board is $15. If you want room service it's an $8 charge. We are avid cruisers, especially on Royal Caribbean and the only room service charges with that line are after midnight and then it's $3.95.

Also, not a biggie but we didn't realize there was no casino aboard! I guess the ship doesn't go into international waters to allow gambling.

75 percent of the crew is American which gives off a different vibe. Some are good, some are so so. It appears they lack the training for service that we've seen on other ships.
