I would not sail on Princess Cruise lines even if they offered me a free cruise.

The incompetence continues, my selected sail date shows the itinerary as a 14 night cruise, its actually a 7 night cruise, even this they cant get right. First I would like to say I have taken 15 cruises with many different cruise lines so I come to know what to expect and not. Okay that being said. First the embarkation, we waited outside standing in line an hour and 40 minutes because they said the US Coast Guard was not letting anyone on the ship, once inside we were then herded like 3rd graders into sections, not a cup of coffee or water was offered as we waited. I will say 70% of the staff could hardly speak english so navigating around the ship at first was difficult. They offered no daily drink special the entire cruise, there was never any music being played on the pool deck, movies on the big screen, Yes. It was very inspiring and lively seeing couch potatoes (more like baked potatoes) sitting in the sun watching movies.

Other than the dining room and speciality restaurants the rest of the staff is less than adequate. While walking to areas of the ship, they would cut you off in your path as they went to and from their stations and kitchen areas, they were obviously annoyed and not friendly at all, best way to explain it is, they were doing a job.

The state room? (mini suite) upon kicking my shoes off to relax on the rug was a french manicure nail tip and in the closet area by the bathroom was a used Q-tip, once the clothes were put away and the luggage slid under the bed I saw a crumbled up cookie, ice in the bucket was hit and miss, bed sheets and pillow cases had to be removed by me on the 2nd day, I swear they weren't have been changed if I didn't do that.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M1

Nice cabin, TV's were flat panel, bed was super comfortable. Just poorly cleaned and maintained.

Port Reviews

Antigua

Antigua Beach. Nice quiet beach, tranquil view. Lounge chair and umbrella rentals, shower to rinse off, food and drinks available.
