All I can say is WOW!! There are no words to describe the amazing time we had!!

My mom and I went on our first ever cruise on the Norwegian Gem together as we lost my dad a few years ago, it was a DREAM of hers to take a cruise, so we booked last October with the help of a specialist at Norwegian...from the second we booked everything was PERFECT! Right from the embarkation process to the second we disembarked back in NYC it was smooth, efficient and fast! The staff in the port of NYC were not HALF as friendly on the ship however, sometimes being a BIT RUDE to the passengers when disembarking...I would suggest to them that they realize SOME of the passengers have never cruised before, and remember that they may need a bit of direction in the process...
