Some 12 months before we went with friends on the Reflection and we loved it. I planned a 9 day family cruise consisting of my daughter son-in-law with 3 grandchildren (11-15 years old), my son and daughter-in-law and youngest grandson (20 months, my wife and I, total of 10 persons. We ate in the main dining room once, the rest of the time we ate in the specialty restaurants and loved every moment of it. There the service compares to any 5 star restaurant in Miami or New York. The cabin stewards were great, the concierge very helpful, overall a great experience.
One month later we went back on the same ship as part of a bridge player's group (46 persons). This time we took a suite, mid ship and loved. The experience compares favorably to our cruises on the Silversea. The added bonus was the entertainment which is far superior to Silversea or Seaborn.
The Veranda cabin is average size on the Silhouette. It has ample closer space, decent sized shower stall, very good bed. We enjoyed in the afternoon some quiet moments on the balcony.
