Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Junior Suite with Balcony

We wanted to try the ship as we had sailed on others of her class. The ship is dated, Has visible rust throughout and vibrates considerably when sailing at higher speeds. Needs a very thorough makeover. The ship only does 3 and 4 day cruises so the itinerary is limited. Does not invite repeating the cruise. Staff is very friendly and those serving us were outstanding. Met officers as well as ships management. This makes up somewhat for the state of the ship. The production shows were very good but the food was lacking and the menus need to be updated. Found the Windjammer disappointing. As an older smaller ship the entertainment opportunities are limited. Choose the bigger ships if more are desired. In fact, I would recommend the newer ships on the line for a first time cruiser but beware as the attention and service may not be as good.

Junior Suite with Balcony

A bit dated. Could use sprucing up. Some drawers opened on their own while others were stuck. Curtains need to be replaced. Quite a few small holes. Balcony door used a a latch for closing that was added as the regular closing mechanism did not work. Room was kept very clean by attendant. Ours was very good..

Port Reviews

Key West

Great Seafood. Easy to walk around on your own as everything in the old town is close. Beaches tend to be rocky and with a lot of sea grass. Wear swimming shoes. Best beach is the national park. .
