We chose this cruise because we live close to San Francisco and would not need any additional flights to return home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. There were many complaints regarding the lack of space in public spaces, etc.; however, except for a few occasions when popular events followed each other, it did not bother us. The dining staff (Arnold and Alex) in the Provence dining room were excellent as was our steward, Nestor. The cabin was more than adequate for our needs, although the bathrooms are small, which is good as it is a reminder not to eat too much. The cruise director, Callie, was in attendance on many occasions and would chat to everyone. Hannah was my favorite activities person. The parties as the ship left ports were really good as were the shows. The theatre was smaller than we have experienced, but as there were three shows each evening, it didn't matter. In fact, for the first time, we were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner and then be able to walk over to the theatre and watch the whole show. The buffet provided many dishes and the staff were very accommodating. We were a little disappointed that we were unable to stop in San Juan del Sur, but that was due to large swells and bad weather, so cannot blame Princess for that. It is a pity that ships are not able to make other arrangements to compensate for a missed location.

The cabin was more than adequate for our needs. I saw complaints about the balcony handrail; however, we did not see any real problems with our balcony.
We have visited Cabo on many occasions so did not take a tour this time. Just wandering around the town and enjoying margaritas at the marine was fun for us.
Mainly a shopping area. Probably should have taken a tour.
