We chose this cruise because it fit our scheduled Spring Break. Since I am a teacher and we have a school aged child, that is the week we needed to go. We were also excited to try a Norwegian cruise because we had never cruised on Norwegian before.

The boarding process was smooth and easy. We were able to board our ship in very little time. We were directed to the Garden Cafe where we could enjoy lunch and some down time before setting sail.

In the Garden Cafe we were able to meet the restaurant manager of the Jewel, Noel Chaves. From that moment, Noel took very good care of us. He was always interested in how our cruise was going, or if there was anything he could do to make things more enjoyable. He visited with us every day and made us feel extremely valued. Honestly, he is amazing! The impact this kind man had on our family is a lasting one.

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IE

Our cabin was spacious and comfortable. We weren't sure if we would enjoy an interior room, but we actually loved it. It was nice because it stayed dark all day which was perfect for afternoon naps, or for sleeping in a little in the morning.
