The cruise agent had really good pricing at amenities at the time, as well as the incentives to book early.
I read her on the reviews that this ship as "worn" or "dated"... nothing is farther from the truth...I understand if you regularly check in to the Ritz Carlton or the Waldorf Astoria, or take Asmara or Viking regularly you are going to be disappointed. But the bargain for the buck is here with Norwegian!
Nice professional staff, quiet-non jiggly room and a really comfortable bed. The cleanliness of the room was remarkable.
Our Steward, Mel was very quiet... Everything was well set up... we never knew he was even around. bed turned down at night, always fresh towels....I know the TV had only a few channels, but met out needs when we retired for the evening....and the big thing..
If you have been told to just book a balcony, save your money and get an Oceanview or Inside Cabin room, as you really only are in your room for a small percentage of the day....
