Great cruise. The cruise director, Reverend Dr. E made a huge impact. The best cruise director on any cruise that I was on. He was hilarious and got people involved. Everything he did was entertaining. He even made the muster drill entertaining. He was funny and entertaining, but extremely respectful during the military get together. He was very approachable, respectable and very friendly. Great job!!
The ship was very clean and decorated like other carnival ships that I was on. The cabin was very functional for the 3 of us. Had a good room Stewart, who we only saw a few times, but our room was always clean. At the beginning of the cruise, he asked us if we prefer our room cleaned during the morning or evening. Not sure why he asked, since it was cleaned both in the morning and afternoon. Couldn't ask for anything more.
Lunch on the Lido deck was very good. Went to Tandoor for Indian food, the Italian restaurant for lunch, stir fry, Guys' burger joint, the blue iguana cantina and the pizza. Guy's burger joint was my favorite. Great burgers and fries. My least favorite was the pizza. It was flavorless. All other places we went were very good. Never did the buffet for lunch, since there were too many good places. For Breakfast we went to the dining room one day. It was ok. I preferred going to the lido deck for omelets. For dinner we were on the 4th floor in Southern Lights. Our waiters were Nedeljko and Antonio. Both were exceptional, and very busy. The food was good, but I actually preferred lunch over dinner. The lobster we had was undercooked, and the one day the chocolate melting cake wasn't melted. Still, pretty good, but not exceptional.
Very clean. No issues. Room steward did a great job. Only saw him a few times the first 2 days. Don't think we saw him after that. Our room was always clean.
Traffic was horrible!!!!!!
Rented a keep and drove around the Island and stopped for sightseeing. Went to Mezcalitos to eat lunch, drink Margaritas and lay around. Mezcalitos' is awesome!!!
