We have recently returned from a great time aboard the Harmony of the Seas. We have cruised about ten times over the last dozen years and both my wife and I feel this was our best ever. We truly enjoy cruising and have had great experiences but this one was a WOW factor.

To start the ship is something else. If you get bored on this one it is your own fault. Now, we are in our mid sixty's - not part of the party crowd - but enjoy many activiites and engaged in lots of them. We played a couple of rounds of Putt Putt, Ping Pong (nice that it was enclosed and didnt have to chase the ball), hit all the water slides and did the zip line. In addition I covered a few miles around the jogging track (got to be the best at Sea - 2.4 times around is a mile on deck five), visited the treadmill, stationary bikes and elliptical. And yes, I enjoyed three trips on the Ultimate Abyss and boogie boarded a couple of times.

After all the exercise, I still put on a few pounds. Why? The food was outstanding and I should have been more disciplined. We loved My Time Dining at Silk (four nights) and the three night dining package which featured Wonderland (My top choice but not my wife's as she is not and adventurous eater. I thought the Haddock was best thing on the ship and I am a real steak lover), Chops (my wife's top choice and my second as we both enjoyed a superb Fillet Mignon), and 150 Central Park which we had the Beef Tenderloin for two cooked to perfection. The wife visited Sorrentos for some afternoon pizza (Yum Yum) while I had Hot Dog at the Dog House (Delicous). We began the cruise with the famous Roast Beef Sandwich at the Park Cafe and it lived up to it's billing. Had breakfast at Windjammer, Johnny Rockets, Mini Bites, American Icon, and Solarium Bistro - each offered a little something different and all were good. Lunch was mostly at Windjammer (crowded but always found a seat - convenient and loved the food.) Favorite Desserts were the Chocolate Ball in Wonderland - amazing, Apple Pie ale mode on menu each night in main dining room, and a Peach Bread Pudding with coconut Ice cream one night in the main dining room. My afternoon specialty by the pool - Grab a glass from Windjammer, fill it a third of the way with skim milk (tried to ease my conscience but didnt work), get a spoon and then go down a deck to the soft serve Ice Cream station and fill the rest of the glass with chocolate frozen yogurt and stir - great milk shake at no added cost!!!!

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin J

We would rather spend less on stateroom since we spend so little time there. Loved the lay out in this one. The virtual balcony was a plus!
