We chose this cruise because of the itinerary; being a smaller ship it could go to smaller ports. It was nice being the only ship in port so there weren't many people ashore. The visibility of the Officers was amazing and they were always so friendly - they were everywhere, sometimes even helping serve the speciality buffets.

The variety and quality of the food in the Windows Cafe (self-service) was very good and the waiting staff in there were second to none - nothing was too much trouble for them. They were friendly, welcoming and always had a smile on their faces.

The food in the Discovery Restaurant was quite good but with limited variety. The service was extremely slow to the point where, on 2 nights, we had to leave before dessert in order to see the show. However, the Maître d'Hôte became aware of this and subsequently did all he could to make sure we were served quickly, unfortunately too quickly at times, so that the waiters were rushing us to choose desserts before everyone else at the table had even finished their mains. After a few nights though we didn't even bother with the show because of the standard of entertainment (see below). There is a bar outside the restaurant where you wait to be called to your table but there aren't enough seats to accommodate everyone.

Cabin Review

Club Veranda Stateroom

Cabin V2

Cabin itself was fine but the bathroom was the smallest we've ever experienced. The shower was even smaller than on a cross-Channel ferry!! - the shower curtain stuck to you, goodness knows how a "large" person would cope. Cabin attendants were most helpful. Very small balcony with just a table and 2 chairs so disappointing there were no sun loungers.
