This was my first experience of a Royal Caribbean cruise, also the first cruise with my family. Embarking was easy and fast, my aunt is a diamond member so all 12 of us were able to board with her in the diamond section. We were able to enjoy getting settled in our room, relax, and order drinks before the ship embarked. The cabin was very clean and we met our room attendant promptly after we arrived. He was very attentive and friendly throughout the whole trip.

The food at the Windjammer was very good, everything was fresh and clean. Also, all 12 of us were always able to find seating even thought it was very crowded. The servers at the Windjammer were great as well! We expected this same service at our dinner table at King Lear, but that was not the case. The first diner was a disaster when it came to ordering our wines and drinks. It seemed like there was only one drink server for the entire dining hall. He only came over to our table only once at the beginning of diner and didn't show up with our drinks until almost the middle of our main course, and the orders were not correct when the drinks arrived. We mentioned this to the head waiter and he was very apologetic and told us that there would be bottles on our table when we arrived at diner the next night. When we did arrive the next night there were no bottles on our table, but the drink server did make sure to be more attentive to us. The service slightly improved over the nights, but he still seemed to have trouble getting us the correct drinks that we asked for. Also, when we received the final bill it said that I had a $23 dining charge and when I asked guest services they said that it was from a bottle that I ordered at dinner, but I had the drink package and I never ordered a bottle. They did end up refunding me the $23 but I highly recommend that everyone check their final bill for charges like that one.

Now onto the shore excursion experience. I did several excursions in Labadee and they were fantastic! I highly recommend the zip line and the rollercoaster. The views are incredible! I was pleasantly surprised with the sensation that you get from the zip line, its not as adrenaline rushing as I thought it was going to be, it was very relaxing and I felt extremely safe!

It was very clean, the attendant would come and clean the room and make the bed several times a day.
