First off, I feel bad for those who had a less than enjoyable experience on the Triumph. This was our 3rd Carnival cruise and our 1st on the Triumph. Our previous Carnival cruises were great, that's why we stuck with them in booking this cruise. Generally, I don't read reviews before taking a cruise, but decided to this time (after we booked) because my wife and I had talked some relatives into taking this cruise with us. I must say, after reading so many bad reviews, I wondered if we'd made the right decision.

From the time we stepped aboard the Triumph, we felt right at home! The crew was awesome-throughout the ship! I read reviews about rude crew members and workers not smiling at them. Well, every crew member we saw was very friendly, helpful, and with a smile. We were all very impressed with every crew member we encountered. The crew on the Lido deck would often stop at our table, and engage in long conversations.

The food was outstanding, both on the Lido deck and in the Paris dining room, where we had early dining. Anyone with a taste for an awesome burger, Guy's burger is the place! With a bit of discipline, I limited myself to four burgers.

Our cabin was spacious and clean with plenty of storage.
