We chose to take our extended family on the Allure for Thanksgiving, after our immediate family took its maiden voyage on the ship back in July. The ship is simply amazing, and there is literally so much to do, you simply cannot appreciate all the ship offers in seven days. The staff in the Loft Suites provide exemplary service. From our room attendant, to the concierges, we were not disappointed with the services we received- from before we boarded, to when things came up while on board, everyone was helpful and attentive on the suite level.

As for some of the negatives: 1.) Four hours in Nassau was not nearly enough time to enjoy the stop, and we felt rushed to the point where we simply could not enjoy ourselves. On a seven day cruise, we expected to have at least four stops, and had two and a half in reality. There could have been more time in Nassau, or perhaps the addition of another port (San Juan), and in the past we have always had two sea days but the rest were days in ports. Three sea days was not the best for us. We wanted to be out seeing places- even as much as we loved the ship.

As for the experience staying in a Crown Loft Suite, we have never traveled so comfortably on a cruise! It was amazing! The room had floor to ceiling windows with auto drapes and sheers, and the balcony was perfect with our two smaller kids- completely safe during daylight to have the door open and be on the balcony resting in the lounge chairs while the kids played or watched the ocean. We had a baby gate provided in our suite for the stairs, so the baby did not get hurt, and this was absolutely necessary. One other perk was the provided pack and play crib offered when we checked in! We had our own, but this was definitely something we wish we would have known about prior to packing for the cruise! Note: this is only for suite guests- when we traveled on the ship in July, in a regular balcony cabin, we inquired about a pack and play and were told they were not available.

Our suite attendant made the trip absolutely fantastic for us, and she was so sweet! If you get a chance to meet Marva, what a doll!!! She offered to go above and beyond for us, and we could not have been happier. The cabin was hands down top notch. Really cool design, and amazing room for the fact that it was a two story.
